About us
Owners Ryan McMullen and Howard Ellis started their 25-year friendship working as Executive Chef’s in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area working in some of the most prestigious hotels, fine dining and gourmet retail businesses. After years in the culinary field, they went into the Broadline Food Distribution business working and helping local restaurants achieve their goals. Ryan and Howard have always had a passion for food with a “Quality over everything else” mind set, and it shows in everything they do. They have many achievements in their careers such as Presidents Cup awards and gold medals for culinary achievements but they are most proud creating and building Ry & Howie’s Steaks and Hoagies where they are part of the community doing what they have always dreamt of doing.
